Do we advocate implementing SOX Compliance to non profit organizations like hospitals? What are the pros & cons of SOX compliance requirement in non profits like hospitals?

The apartment people said that they checked all my information and now going to send it to compliance to get "The o.k." .... What does that mean?

I am creating an advertisment where there is a reduction in price, i.e. door in the face technique. However can it still be called compliance as there are no social pressure acting on the person. (It's an ad.)

I am presently a litigation attorney in NY, but I am contemplating a career shift into compliance work. Problem is, most posted compliance jobs, from my observation, require some degree of experience. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to break into this field, or any resources I can consult?
